Was lingerie shopping in Jusco Mid Valley the other day when I saw a kid intrigued with bras and panties. She was very diligent in organizing them at the racks. Her mother and aunt were in the changing rooms nearby.

So cute right!

Until she tried on the bras herself

I am back for the CNY break and loving it!

I have been away for too long that when I came back I felt weird, as if coming back to a strange place yet felt a sense of familiarity and knowing =)

Been sleeping endlessly and eating merrily. Second day at home and I already felt my tummy protruding -___-

Although wont be celebrating CNY this year, all is still well and will take this time to catch up with friends and family.

Resolutions For 2012

On second day of 2012 I was down with fever, flu and a throat that was first swollen and eventually turned sore. I took sick leave off work for 3 days straight and I saw 2 doctors.
My fever was 38.5. Any higher my brain will be fried wtf

And that prompted me to list down my resolutions for this year 2012.

Focus more on a healthier, fitter, chubbier and FATTER body.
My family and friends have all been complaining how thin I look. But I swear my weight hasnt gone down abit! Until recently I realized my face DO look sunken. OKLAH I DID BECOME THINNER.
And I think my body's condition isnt as good as I thought it would. So this year, I will eat more, exercise more and EAT MORE!!!

Help bf reduce tummy.
Yeah, that tummy of his. It's getting way out of hand. I will make it smaller by end of this year!

Learn makeup.
Because Tachi complains alot that my makeup skill makes me look old wtf so, I will find the time and effort to at least brush up my makeup skills. Or else my cosmetics will end up useless anyway

Be a better cook.
My colleague find it unbelievable that I cook. My bf dislikes having outside food that much. My tummy says it wants homecooked food more. And I, miss my mom's cooking T___T

Manage my financial more wisely
Every year this will appear in my resolution list because I suck at it. I think money hates me. I cant seem to save money T__T and each time I do, something happens and it would require me to use it fml So this year, I wana make a change. Start thinking and saving for my future!

Improve my ships
As in relationship, friendship and family-ship. After Grams' passing, I mentally declared to myself that whatever happens, family and friends will always ALWAYS come first. Work and everything else second. Everybody will ditch you but by the end of the day your family and friends will be there for you even when you fall to the very bottom step.
And I always think my family and friends loves me more than I sayang them. Which make me feel such a loser T.T and lucky for having them T_____________T

During my Grams' memorial service, I let the opportunity to speak about her go.

That was my biggest regret to date.

But it prompted me to write an article of what I would have said if I went up that day.

And it was published today in Star2, Heart & Soul.

ON Dec 14, I lost the last of my grandparents, my Grams. That day I moved in automaton mode. I didn’t know what I was doing.

During the memorial service, my elder sister gave a short speech. She then asked me if I would like to say something. I wanted to but chickened out at the last minute because I was crying uncontrollably.

That is my biggest regret until today. I’ve slapped myself for being a chicken. I should have gone up to talk about Grams.

I have replayed the scene in my head so many times and imagined what I would have said:

“Hello everyone. I bet Grams must had left a mark on your lives at some point for you to take the time to say goodbye to this old lady. So thank you all for coming for this service.

You know you love and care for a person when you look at her and feel your heart brimming with a special kind of feeling. That’s love, and that is what I feel when I look at Grams.

The night before when Sister told me Grams had slipped into a coma, I begged God, “Please don’t take her away from us. At least let her be with us until the Chinese New Year. I’m only asking this of You. I’m not ready for her to leave just yet.”

The next morning I received the news. Honestly, I was angry with God for taking her away. He didn’t hear my prayers. Or was it me who didn’t pray hard enough?

Grams was a superb grandmother. She was sooo adorable and every one of my friends loved her. She would give us pocket money now and then. One time, I felt bad for taking her money because she had given me some previously so I snuck into her room and left it in her drawer.

The next day she scolded me and forced me to keep the money.

“But Grams, you had given me already that day!”

“Never mind. Keep for a rainy day.”

I always thought Grams was the one and only, and different from other grandmothers I had seen. For her age and generation, she understood her grandchildren and listened to them. She was open-minded and I want to be like her when I grow old.

There was this time when my university mates came to my house for a visit. She stared at one of the guys and asked innocently, “Are you a boy or a girl ah?”

Embarrassed, my friend laughed and told her he is a boy. And she would let our her silly laugh.

Then, all of a sudden, her health deteriorated. Old age, Ku Chea called it. It was heartbreaking seeing her lying on the hospital bed.

Then she got better and was discharged, and cared for at home.

There were times when I overheard Grams praying to God, saying, “O Lord, please take me away. I do not want to trouble my children as they have their own to take care of. I do not want to be a burden to them.”

I guess she got her wish. But I know she’s in better hands now.

Before I end, I’d like to thank everyone who took care of Grams during her last days on earth. Thank you for tirelessly waiting on her and never complaining. Thank you for putting up with her antics. Thank you for sacrificing your time and effort and spending money on her medication.

I’m sure Grams would have wanted to say this in person. So thank you, on her behalf. She knows we love her and she will be missed dearly.”

Yes, that’s what I would have said.

Still Alive & Kickin'

Im still here after 4 months off from this blogging world. I apologize but I just cant seem to write something T__T

Anyway here it is, the first post for the year 2012!

Of all the major things that happened in year 2011.

1. Leaded by Alvin, together with juniors and fellow mates, we organised Ang Pau Nite, a Chinese New Year event that was held in our university yearly. Because of its one year hiatus, we decided to make it a great comeback. Hence..Ang Pau Nite 2011 was born with Jonker Nite (first in APN history) and quite a deal of sponsorship that we got *ahem ahem

There may had been loads of tension behind the scenes but eventually everything went well and as expected.

So thank you all for giving us wonderful memories and giving me an opportunity to be involved in this great adventure!

2. I went through a torturous 6 months in our final year project. Lack of sleep, tonnes of stress, not eating right etc etc. I thought I was not gonna made it through. I was thinking, "Die lah die lah, This time sure cant pass. Sure extend one more sem!"

And I will never forget how on the last few days where we were doomed to present, I cried my heart out because I freaked out and our project hit dead end.

Then a Samaritan came to my rescue and the rest is history.

We strived and in the end, SSIL Package made its pass.

Thank you to my wonderful team mates and our faithful laptops that didnt die on us in critical times. *sayang

3. Received a special award unexpectedly. This one must post because really unexpected. I was nomming food halfway in my mouth when I heard my name was called. My thought when I was on stage?

"Please please please dont let any food stuck between my teeth. TQVM."

All the while smiling sweetly for the camera fml

4. I GRADUATED!!!

How awesome it is to yell it out loud! Finally reaching the LAST phase of my education life. No more books, no more assignments, no more exams, no more anxiously waiting for results. I did not waste my parents' hard earned money *touched

5. Lost one of the loves I love the most.

She left a big hole in our lives. We are still trying to let her go. I will never hear her voice again or sitting at the table scooping dishes for her. No more doing pedicure for her.

How do we find a missing piece of the heart?

I do hope this year 2012 will bring more positive things and people into our lives.

And that the world doesnt end wtf

Just when you thought you have been living off as healthy as you can be, a health screening burst it all.

No, I dont have cancer if that's what you're thinking. Neither am I diagnosed with any kind of disease *touch wood*
Well..at least, not yet.

Bought a 100% off health screening at Well Again which is located at Mentari Court in Sunway from Joydeal , another discount site.
Its value is Rm580 if I had not remember it wrongly. So this means a FREE checkup!
Yay!

I was looking forward to it. I mean what could a health screen will hurt right?

WRONG!

You might think you are healthy when in fact you really are not.

Look, I have not been really much of a healthy person since I came back because hello, KL is so major filled with delicious food that you cant resist!
Snowflake, Domino's, Chatime, Gong Cha, Nando's, TGIF and the list goes on!
After work you were just so tired that you cant find anymore energy left to lift up that sport shoe.
How can you not get not healthy?
Sigh~

I went to the clinic to find tonnes of poster on the wall to remind you not to smoke, get a pap smear test today blah blah blah

I had

weight (grown thinner)
and height measurement (I've grown 1cm taller hahahaha!)
urine test (my urine is fine, just less Vitamin C)
and all-sorts-of-organs-you-can-find-in-your-body test
coming soon V test

And the conclusions are:

Im underweight wtf
I have fat and fat crystals in my blood (must've been leftovers from my yester years LOL)
My liver is...well...a lil problematic (already done a blood test and waiting for report)
I eat too much meat (what the...)
I lack of iron (which results in my triple times lower blood pressure :S)
My lungs are stiff.

So proposed solutions are:

Eat more (like a hell lot more wtf)
Exercise more (I have been exercising alot already)
This one gotta wait for my report though
Eat less meat and more fruits and greens. Better yet, dont eat meat at all at dinner (proposed by the nurse herself)
Eat more supplements of iron and vitamin B complex.
Do more inhale exhale (in what?) exercise

Most of all I gotta change my way of eating. Less oily food, with 80% fruits and veges, 10% meat and 10% carbs.

Ohhh gaaaaaaaawwwwwwdddddddddddd....................

Tachi already said Im a health freak. With my new found diet, I am gona be such a screwed up super duper major health freak.
Geezzzz

So go get yourself check today okay. Anyhow your health should be your first priority.
Because you cant enjoy your wealth if you're sick HAHAHAH!

Internship..Checked!

Last Friday was it.
And early morning received gifts unexpectedly already.

First one of the managers came over and told us to go into the meeting room.
I thought she was gona post-mortem us!

But turned out she gave a thank-you-for-everything-im-sorry-if-i-offended-you-girls speech.
It was overwhelming. In the end she presented us with a small cute package of bracelets.

The one on the right is a sleeping bunny key chain by one of the colleagues. He gave me earrrrrrrrly in the morning stealthily. Was touched tooo

Before we left we shook hands with most of the colleagues in Sedania and ST2U and thanked them. Said thanks until didnt know what else to say because that's the only words that did our feelings justice.

We gave a small gift to our supervisor and his two very stressful-looking (lol) assistants: mugs with customized messages and photo.

Needless to say my internship was knowledgeable and fulfilling. I learnt so much and had my baby steps in the business world. It was an eye opener and I met people. I hope that these baby steps will grow into something that I am able to find my interest and passion in.
It's scary to think which path will I take and most of all if I have made the right decision or took the right choice.
Then again, this is my life. I determine of how it's supposed to be or how I want it to be.
As how my supervisor said,

"There is no right and wrong decisions. There will only be decisions that YOU make. That's it."

Yup.

3-Course Meal @ Super GP Caffee

Bought the deal at Juzdeal which consists of 1 starter, 1 main course and 1 milkshake.

It was located at Taipan Subang conveniently.

Super GP Caffee is a concept cafe whereby it is based on race cars alike. It was hard to miss as it's located at the corner and pretty well obvious from the main road.
And it's really colorful: green, red and yellow. Moreover it has a race car at its exterior.
An actual one o.O

I love it the moment I stepped into the restaurant because it reminds me so much of those American diners by the roadside. You know those that people stop by to eat when they go on a road trips?
Practically like that.

They also have mini race cars toys in glass display and various pictures of drivers.
I saw Micheal Schumacher! Dont ask me anyone else cuz I know only Micheal fml =.=

Tachi went to toilet and came back amazed by their toilet signs.

Female: Nut

Creative huh.

Foodie!

The Oreo Crunch milkshake rocks! It's literally milkshake because there's no ice blended in it.

The chicken slices in Caesar salad was flavorful and the ham was equally juicy.

The F1 Chicken Burger's patty was a little undercooked in my opinion. But it wasnt bad.

And the fries...

DEE FRIES~~~ The moment it goes into your mouth, it melts! Im not joking!

Better than McD fries and TGIF's!! o.O

Plus it's sprinkled with herbs and that makes it taste good even without sauce.

*stomach growling*

Only 1 set of meal but the portion was big enough for the two of us.

By the end, we were two happy girls.

It was a perfect place for gatherings too!

That adds another to my go-to places ;D

Korean BBQ Set @Seoul Palace, USJ Mall

You know how discount sites has been sprouting like mushrooms in the net lately?
AND I LOVE THEM!! LOL
My favourites and well-known too so far are My Deal, Everyday, Milkadeal and Groupsmore.

One of my favorite food is Korean (anyeong saeyo!)
I love kimchi and kimchi jiggae and daekboggi and their banchan especially! I read once that kimchi contains good bacteria for your stomach so go eat more kimchi kay!

So few weeks back I came across this deal in Everyday.

After zillions of thinking I bought it nevertheless cuz Im a sucker for Korean food like that. =.='

Then last week, I used it together with Ec and Tachi.

The moment I stepped into the restaurant, I love the interior already! It is real classy with touch of Korean design.

You sit in tables like the picture on the right. Very comfy! You have to take off your shoes to enter that section. They have those normal tables too of course.
But given choice I'll choose that!

The deal is consisted of Korean BBQ meat, pork or beef (I chose pork..PORK ROCKS!), kimchi jiggae, dolsol bibimbap and 10 banchans. Refillable. No charge.

But one major problem I faced when going to Korean restaurants is communication. Because the restaurants are operated by pure Koreans, of course their workers consists of Korean people too. This one however their waiters do not look Korean because their skin was so dark! I had trouble figuring out which country they came from because they dont look local.
Plus they seem to understand little English because when I asked questions in English, all I got was 'Yes'.

*points to banchan* "How many times can refill?"

"Yes."

"So if refill got charge how much?"

"Yes."

=.='

I gave up after that.

All in all it was a pretty satisfying meal. The service is friendly and it is a cosy place. Definitely worth seconds ;)

Chilly Pan Mee

Anyway Yeeshiang and Loong stopped by for a visit last weekend.
She brought flowers which I forgot what was the name totally but it was blooming so beautifully until one of the stalks died yesterday =.='

We went out for a late lunch, had no idea where to eat and she suggested us to this pan mee shop in Taipan.
Got no photo of the restaurant cuz I always forget to take a picture of it wtf
It's called Chilly Pan Mee.

Actually I have already noticed it everytime I went to Taipan and finally, that weekend I got the taste of it.

This is their awesome chilly flakes paste or whatever.

Adjust the hot level yourself hehe

At first I saw no chillies so I asked, "Where's the chillies? I thought we ordered chilly pan mee?"

"You put in the chillies yourself."

"But no chilly also?"

*points to the chilly tumbler on table* "It's this one."

"Oh." *blushed*

Left side is how it looks like when it came. Right one is how it looks like when it's mixed with chilly paste.

AND IT WAS GOOOOOOOD!!!!

Im not kidding.

The noodles is not that lembik. The tanginess of the chilly paste is just nice and if you drip a lil of their sour and spicy chilly sauce, it tastes EVEN BETTER!!!

I finished up the whole bowl and wanted more but did not because I know the capacity of my stomach hahaha

Good news is it's not expensive.

Bad news is Yeeshiang, Loong and Ec had minor diarrhea the next day. Mine was the day after ^^'

But we had no regrets because it is awesome like that!

So now you can take precaution is you wana eat this.

A Matter of Time

I dont mind slowing down to keep up with your pace.

I refuse to eat first even though my stomach was growling because I know how you like it when everyone eats together at the dinner table.

I insisted sitting beside you because I want to make sure your plate is always full with dishes.

I love cracking lame jokes just to make you laugh.

I speak even louder when everybody else says Im loud just so you can hear me.

I love you because you have always loved me like that.

But over dinner not long ago, they started discussing a good 'place' for you.

Just two weeks ago, they bought you a set of silver accessories.

When I asked the reason, they said it's so that you wont be empty handed when you leave.

And they said you requested it yourself.

But you totally forgot it was you who told us to buy them for you.

This only strengthens what aunt said:

She declared once, "There isnt much time left."

I know.

But Im not ready for you to leave just yet.

Fly Like A G-6

Went to My Deal Partnership Launch at G-Six Gardens last Friday.

Seriously I was disappointed.

Ok. Maybe the place disappoints me.. It wasnt that lively.
At first I thought there will be an event flow like there will be programs and all but turns out My Deal was just inviting their partners to have a chillout session. Just drinks and lucky draw and then it's up to the members of the floor to do their thing.

Which they did not.

It's not like the DJ aint good. He was great. The songs were great.
It's just the people wtf

Eventually we just sat down and talked and camwhored and watched hawt ladies struttin' their stuff..vie~viek!

The deal that we bought entitled us for a free beer/ house pour/ soft drink and lucky draw.

That's me going up the stage for lucky draw.

Nope, I didnt win anything. I was there to pick the winner wtf
So ironic.

So sia suey also because I brought my cousin from Singopore who was here for the Liverpool match the nest day to the club too and it wasnt happening AND IT WAS HIS FIRST TIME CLUBBIN IN MALAYSIA WTF

Whatever lah.

At least he got along with Remy whom he thought was cute XD

Had a lil too much to drink so much so that I pretended to be the elevator girl and Ec, the show girl.

18 Hours

Minus the 3 hours that we got stuck on the road due to the bloody stupid fukkin roadblocks, it was 15 hours we spent together.

The precious 15 hours.

May sound pathetic to you but it wasnt to us. At least we see each other =)

Say hello to PC who flew in last Saturday to

1. Celebrate his birthday.
2. To meet my parents and grams and aunt.

I guess #2 is more kan cheong than #1.
AHAHAHAHA!

Because it was so short that I felt like it was a dream @.@ *mentally slaps self*

I think he received thumbs up from my family especially Grams..teehee~!

Brought him to TGIF in Sunway Pyramid for a birthday dinner since Kl area wasnt accessible from any way FTL

He fell in love with Pyramid.

Yes. As in like love at first sight. He was amazed by how beautiful Pyramid was and how its parking levels are on top floors instead of basements as usual.

Sunway Pyramid, I am so proud of you *wipes imaginary tear*

Anyway it's been so long since the time I worked at TGIF and from what I was trained, TGIF is famous for their great service and fantastic food.
Hell, the food is still as awesome as ever!

The one thing that you must I REPEAT MUST have in TGIF is their buffalo wings (the one with celery sticks in pic). You know how people hate celery for its smell and taste? Well I have never liked eating it raw. I mean eating cooked or stir fried celery is fine with it but raw? I hated it too.

Used to.

Until I discovered celery sticks in buffalo wings.

It is heaven!

It comes with bleu cheese dressing.

You must must must must must must x power to infinity dip the sticks into the cheese only then you eat it.

It totally diminishes the raw busuk celery taste!

Give me celery sticks and endless bleu cheese dressing and I can wallop everything for breakkie, lunch n dinner MUAHAHAHA!

And the wings...THE WINGS~!

Its sour and spicy taste blended with herbs makes the chicken meat so succulent and juicy and tasteful!

The whole aroma bursts in your mouth!

You gotta have it to believe it yourself.

Ok, back to the main topic.

I got him a wallet since he said the leather of his current one are deteriorating.

So I went to Jusco's Branded Bargain at MVEC with Ec to ~~sapu whatever stuff they have there~~ cheer myself up and spent hundreds there wtf

It was thronged with people and everywhere you looked were 70%, 50% off.
Somewhere got Triumph sale. Friggin cheap!
How can not spend so much leh *manyak excuses*

Got myself kimchi jiggae to cure the emoness which didnt do me justice in the toilet the next day wtf

See? Im happy already *fake grin*

Ec bought a luggage bag from the bargain. Fukkin cheap!
And very erm ah erm outstanding. So next time when she travels she need not to worry about getting wrong luggage or luggage got stolen etc etc

Last but not least

Crocs Warehouse Sale

To tell you the truth I am not really a fan of Crocs myself when the very first generation of Crocs came out in the market.

It's big, hideous, and bulky and so suits girls not!

But after I got one in Labuan (which was forced bcz my sandals broke and it was the nicest among all the choices there) I gotta admit it's really comfortable!

My hatred for the first edition is still ongoing. Dont talk me out of it. Hmph.

At the sale, everybody was buying like crazy! Saw some people taking up to 5 pieces of Crocs!
Theee Hideous Generation 1 of Crocs.

To which I ended up buying one for my dad too ^^'

At the entrance when I was concentrating on the big big promotion banner,

out of the blue a staff stuck a 'I <3 Crocs' on my left arm.

"What is this?"

"Sticker for wearing Crocs to this sale. Everyone who wears we give one."

Fine. Anyway most the sizes available are 4, 9, 10 and so on.
And my shoe size is 7 wtf go there also no use.

The other day Ta Chi and I wanted to get Chatime from Sunway Pyramid to which she suggested, "Let's try Sno instead."

"Sno?"

"It's like milkshake."

And milkshakes it was that we got.

You order through an iPad at the counter and first select your base:

green tea ice cream, vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt.

Then select your flavors, which comprises alot of premium chocolates such as Milky Way, Ferrero Rocher. Kit Kat, M&M's and so on.

Last but not least, toppings! Select from marshmallows, mochi, nuts, popcorn and the list goes on.

You can work everything here to your tastebuds! Seriously!

I chose frozen yogurt with strawberry and Milky Way. No toppings.

Ta chi chose vanilla ice cream with ferrero rocher and nutella. No toppings either.

The froyo was awesome! I fell in love on the first sip! Best of all, it's fat-free and they use all natural fresh ingredients.

Ta chi loved hers though my preference for it was lesser. A lil too sweet for me.

Other than mixing and matching to your own taste, they have a selection of flavor and toppings combination from them too. So you dont have to crack your head to choose the flavors or toppings.

I know this post is kinda old because the event happened last Tuesday and all the photos has gone viral in my Facebook =.='

So the event.
My intern company's sister company Sedania Travelneeds2u collaborated its product Local SIM Kad (LSK) with Garuda Indonesia for a press conference in KL Tower.

Some of you will be wondering what is LSK. Trust me I had the exact same reaction. I was also like, LS what??

LSK is actually a global roaming prepaid card that allows travellers to save during their trip aboard. It voids all roaming rates and you dont have to pay double when you answer a call or make a call to your loved ones back at home. With LSK you dont have to go through the hassle to find a phone card upon arrival at your destination and you travel like a local.

Right now we have 10 countries like Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Singapore and so on.
After joining the company I realise this product does have its potential.
And they even won four awards for it! Wow!

Anyway back to the event.

All the interns were required to take part in one way or another and Nadia and I was assigned to be the usherette for VIPs. Geez I dont even know who the VIPs were wth

Didnt know VIPs was still alright.
BUT having to wear a PINK wig which fyi the least favorite color of mine, is a DISASTER! omfg

We were supposed to look like this

Because the manager didnt bring enough wigs (they had another 3 usherettes but she brought only 4 hehe)

Inspiring Indeed

Last friday Sedania Travelneeds2u relocated their office to Kelana Parkview Tower. Kak Hafie cooked us nasi lemak as our tea time. It was goooood! The sambal was just nice! ^^

There was an ice breaking session where we were ~~demanded~~ required by our CEO to give a simple but unique introduction. We were at out wit's end because suddenly a simple intro seemed so hard! Got cash prize some more leh!

But until now the winners are not announced and the cash are nowhere to be seen =.='

Anyways that wasnt my point. My point is after the session I felt so stressed!
In a good way lah.

The people that Im working with are people who have tasted a whole load of salt and vinegar and hit dead ends so many times that their head bled and healed and bleed again to heal again.

They have such abundance of experiences that I felt I am so small standing next to them even though Im physically taller than them.

At times when they were describing all their working experiences and stories I felt inspired by their stories. It made me realise working isnt that easy after all. I mean of course it aint easy at all.
I imagine how must have it been for my parents, my boyfriend, my aunts and uncles and everyone else.
My CEO dont just get his position for nothing. It requires alot of hardships and obstacles.

Then later on, he said something that I didnt agree.

He said all generation Y are spoiled and spoon-fed.
(Generation Y as in MY generation. Before us are gen-X and after us are gen-Z)

HELLO! Not all okay.

Spoon-fed yes. At times.
Ok so it's most of the time.

But not spoiled.

Not ALL of us are spoiled. And that groups of 'NOT' includes me.
DUH.

We maybe spoon-fed but never all of us are spoiled. There are some of us that are not born rich and we pave our way through hardships and poverty to learn the lessons of life.

We make mistakes to learn the hard way.

We eat just enough and save so that we do not have to ask for money from our parents.

So we are NEVER spoiled. Not all.

My 8-year-old nephew has an iPad.
That kid that lives across the street uses an iPhone. 4 somemore.
And that junior who is studies in the same campus as me drives a Honda City.

Now that's spoiled.

There's definitely lessons to share from Sung-bong. Everyone is saying never give up and always chase your dream. I couldnt agree more.

But what I learn from him is that no matter what life gives you you take it and face it in your own way.
Never be ashamed of who you are. Sung-bong wasnt ashamed when he was telling practically the whole world how his life has been all these years. He didnt even let a single tear fall. His lips did not quiver and he wasnt even on the edge of crying.
But it was the judges and audience who cried for him.

He definitely has the spirit of life!

I hope that after the show there will be people who help him and he will be able to pursue all his unchased dreams. I pray for the best for him and may he will be blessed with all the greatness in life.

Currently Im interning here.

Sedania Media Group and me and few of my coursemates are assigned to do anything regarding the company's web portals. My boss is Mr. Daniel and his assistant, Yus. Nope I dont have their picture.

Because there are almost 22 interns here and due to some construction everyone is squeezed into one floor.
Everyone. Every division. Everything.

Therefore, my coursemates and I are all placed into the discussion-cum-meeting room.
It's our 'cubicle' for the months to come.

Yeap. It's like a family.
At least our assistant are cool and nice and according to him, our boss too.
*whisper* Other parts of the office are really tensed up because it is filled mostly with programmers and they need the quiet environment to concentrate and focus in their work. *shivers*

Today is Day 2 and up until now, Yus and Mr. Daniel are nowhere to be seen ^^' Probably busy with Ara Damansara's office.
But that's okay. We're doing fine on our own. Researching company's web portals because they are having a revamp!! Wheee~!

So wish us luck! In working life

Been wanting to blog about this awesome cosmetics that I bought...I found my dream eyeliner!

An eyeliner that doesnt smudge when you sweat, when you cry, when you accidentally ter-rub your eyes and when everything else!

It doesnt smudge when it comes in contact with water or oil or whatsoever.

So how do you smudge it den?

Well... that's the downside of it. If you wana smudge it do it in 5 seconds after you apply it on your lid.

Yup. 5 seconds. Very short hor. But practice makes perfect.

I almost perfected mine :P

And it's not expensive. AT ALL!

Very affordable.

Removes easily with makeup remover ;)

Homecoming

Coming back to my old life that I paused for 3 years brings back a lot of emotions. I miss catching up with my girlfriends which I have not seen them for like infinite.

There are things that changes. Only day two back Im already feeling the stress. Stress of life.
Have I been in the comfort zone for too long???

Get out. GET OUT!

Dangerous stuff are happening everywhere. For example, KL is now hyped with the acid attack on women and children. Just by hearing it enough to make me shiver. Imagine if you are walking on the road and someone splashed acid on you, you are ruined for life! Girls some more!

WHY THE HELL THERE ARE PSYCHOS IN THIS WORLD? GOING AROUND SPLASHING ACID FOR NO PARTICULAR REASON! GILA BABI!

Then Im trying to pick up the pieces of my life where I have left them. My family is in abit of a mess right now and Im still trying to adapt to it.

There are huge changes happening in my life and Im not sure if I know how to handle them correctly or wisely. I do not know what I want or how I want it. I need to settle down quickly and I want to settle down on my old life as soon as possible.

What scares me is what would I become of or how do I wana be??

There are alot of question marks in my head. Puzzling...Confusing...
I need to think. I need to decide. I need to adapt.

I wish I can talk to my girlfriends now. Even if it's just to hear them talk. Or just to get the flow of the world now.

I think I need sleep.
I think my Labuan hangover has not passed yet *sigh*

Top 10 Achievements in UMSKAL (or so i thought lah)

Not in particular order kay. I just write whatever that comes to mind. Have to think 10 somemore (Alvin lah! grrrr!) I dont really have that many of achievements that's why it's so hard to think 10 *sobs*

1. Recording an Arabic video and acting retardedly as a kid. Not literally but I just look retarded =.=' wtf Not bad lah. Helped in bringing up our Arabic marks though :D

2. Paticipating in a silly 'Wu Kun Ah Pek' dance after much ~~forcing~~ persistent from Alvin. ~~Poor Lala and me~~ We had fun! The climax of the night Alvin called it ^^'

It was stupidly hilarious LOL

3. Getting into an accident.

Ok lah so this is not really an achievement but I have been there and felt how it was like so it was an achievement OKAY!
In one way or another lor ^^'

It was scary! They say when you know you are about to die, your life flashed before your eyes. It's true. I was thinking how would my parents do if I die in this accident and I remembered telling God, "Please dont let me die. I dowan to die I dowan to die."

I didnt. We survived the accident.
*looks up* Thank You! *grateful*

We were lucky and grateful because there were so many people that I know and dont know came to our rescue. My friends took turn to sleep over at the hospital with me and ta pau-ing lunch and dinner for me. Aunties from church cooked for me too. My boyfriend who was then a friend and just-graduated senior cooked for me also. Uncle from church looked out for us too. Thank you all for making us feel at home and taking care of us. Thank you so much =')

Moral of the story: Be safe on the road. Think of your loved ones.
Moral of story to self: Take extra precaution if you think the driver is not safe LOL

4. Angpau Nite 2011.
Never thought we will be able to make it such a success T^T *touched* The effort and the time...it was all precious. It gave me beautiful memories. My first time wearing cheongsam =)
And I met alot of fantastic people along the way =)
You guys rock!

5. MDEC aka MSC-IHL Business Idea Competition
Thanks to Mr. Yuszren, I got to experience the rare opportunity to participate and being one of the winners. I can say it is a once-in-a-lifetime chance and Im thankful Im able to experience it.
Thank you sir!

I had a lot of fun too with these two guys above and Mr. Leau. During the whole trip I got the whole room to myself! Woots! It was bloody comfortable! HAHAHAHAH!
I remembered we had a mission too: to get masks for the then-upcoming Masquerade Nite. And we scoured the whole of Petaling Street, walking all day and stopping by for small eats (^^,)
Alvin and Esywara, my 'business husbands'!

6. Final Year Project.
The most stressful time of our semester. The project that determines whether you graduate or not.
It's like even though you have 4.0 CGPA, if you fail this you can tell 4.0 to eat shit.
Im not kidding.
Fortunately we pulled through *tears of relief*

Thank you Lala and Nelson! See you guys at convocation! :D

7. Water crisis.

WE SURVIVED ONE YEAR WITHOUT WATER! ROARRRRRR!!!!
It was the year where we can only have one bath per day and 2 or 3 pee trips. It also the time when some of us experience the 'enjoyment' of bathing in sarongs.
In case you're wondering, I carried water up 4 flight of stairs to my bathroom to bathe.
And my arms become fitter thank you very much :P

8. Conquering the peak of Mount Kota Kinabalu!! *ROAR LOUDER!!*

Most of all, I didnt die!!! *touched max* From pneumonia or falling off the cliff!
And yes I cried. So what XP

Thanks Alvin and 818 for the bottom half of the mountain and Ah B and Nelson for the top half of mountain. And some Samaritans from KL that got me to the peak.
Those few days provided me with a memory that I will happily reminiscence in years to come =)
If on that day you asked me if I'd like to go again I'll say no.
But now...maybe, just maybe ;)

Btw surviving 7 and 8, I can survive about almost everything now!
(Hmph! Take that you cockroaches!! *kill step hit cockroaches that comes in the way*)

9. 38 gang and juniors.
Wonderful friends get you through thick and thin. And in this case in an isolated, boring dull island.
Im really lucky to meet all of them. My seniors, my friends, my juniors. I have experience so much with all of you good and bad and made everything else seems wonderful.
Now Im going back to the place where I belong but keep in touch aite!
I love you all. Dont miss me because I will miss you more =')

10. 3 years here without proper entertainment.
I think this is the best among all lah. They say you determine your own life.
At here, we determine our own entertainment XD
There isnt a proper shopping mall here, no proper cinema and clubs. Giant also supermarket only, not hypermarket or the huge ones we have in Peninsula. No 1U or Mid Valley. No GSC and TGV.
But nevermind.
We have UK (Ujana Kewangan). We have PKP room where we can set up our own theatre X) For the holidays we have islands and Kota Kinabalu.
We have also sandy beaches and barbecue spots.
Oh also the best kepak ayam.
Throw them together with assignments and projects, we have plenty of entertainment here lor.

Of The Things I'll Miss

Being in Labuan isnt that bad you know. When I first came here I adapted because it was almost the same as my hometown., the development of this island.
But then as time goes by TI got more and more developed and I began dreaded coming back here each time a new semester started wtf

Anyway it's not all bad with this island lor. So here are what I'll miss of this island, the institution that educated me for 3 years and the remainder of my student life T^T

1. The life as a student itself. Being a student is really enjoyable. I didnt like my student life until I was in Form 4. After that, life feels great and wonderful and fun and especially when you have a bunch of girlfriends and guy friends that can actually be wacky and crazy at times. Then in uni, I was lucky enough to befriend another bunch of good friends who made life in this isolated and forgotten place much more easier and better.

=)

2. Student privileges! What else! That's the best of all!
But now no more, "Ada student price ka??" or hearing the magical sentence, "Student ada 15% off"
You save a lot as a student in movies, food etc etc
Say bye bye to student privileges T______T

3. Safety of this island.
Q : Where else can you leave your car unlocked, go for lunch, come back and still find your car there safe and sound?
A : Labuan.

Oh better yet. With laptop inside some more ;)

In Labuan it's way safer than Kuala Lumpur.

Just accidents that we hear alot ^^'

4. Beach and sunsets.
Im telling you the sunsets here are the best lah. I used to jog and sat by the beach side to watch the sunset til it goes down. It was breathtaking =)
You will never get tired of the sunsets here.

5. My juniors!
Im gona miss all of you so much! ='( I'd love to thank each and everyone of you personally but then it will be a very long post and I might end up indexing the names for easy find =.='
So I will just say thank you for everything and I apologize if I have ever offend you. Add oil in whatever you do especially FYP! Good luck and all the best! Never say never and never give up. Give out your best shot because in the end you have no regrets =)

My mom is a very funny person. Not in hilarious funny.
But just funny.

No she DOES NOT look funny okay. *points finger* Dont you dare criticise my mother okay!
Hmph!

They make a handsome pair when they were young. Mom was very pretty from what I saw of her wedding pics. Dad was relatively handsome too. Thanks to their chromosomes, we 3 sisters turn out ok lah.

Every mother is special in her own way. They do anything for their children.
Mom is someone who doesnt dwell on cosmetics or beauty stuff, facial lah etc etc. My grams used to tell us all the time, "Your mom is a very good mother. Doesnt buy cosmetics all because she dowan to waste money on all things. Where can you get this kind of mother? Your father ah really 'chap dou' (lucky)"

She cleans, cooks and sews our school pinafores. I think she's a super mom. Practically multi-talented. I inherited some of her traits *proud*

Ok. So maybe not her cooking skills but I DO KNOW A THING OR TWO OK!

Over the years growing up I love her more and more. I realise all the sacrifices that a mother would make just for the sake of her children which in this case...me. When I had eczema she gone to great lengths to find cure for me ie she would climb over a fence into a vacant neighbour house just to pluck the herbs that she heard people said good for the skin.
She spent alot too for all the medicines, western or chinese traditional.
That time I hated myself for bringing so much trouble to her. I should just die I thought.

But now Im getting all better, thanks to her. I love you Mom.

If to count all the things she had done for me alone, it's uncountable and priceless.

I wouldnt say Im a naughty child. I obeyed her and I feel guilt if I know I made her upset. So I grew up an obedient child. Ask my girlfriends. They would know better.

I will still love her with all my heart even if she's the ugliest woman on Earth. Abit harsh you might say but true.

I love you Mom. I really do. Now I understand all the things you did for me were for my own good and shapes the way I am today. Thank you Mom for everything. You're truly the Queen of my Heart =)

Im graduating this year and I want you to know, it's all because of you.

My Housemate

She was the first East Malaysian good friend that I know. My coursemate, my assignment-mate, my fyp-mate. Very simple person, good-tempered: "Aiyah, nevermind lah"
Very cincai indeed

She's one of the people who changed my perspective about East Malaysians.
She cooks our dinner every day and takes care of our welfare. She prepares hot honey lemon when I caught flu and look out for me when I was busy with events. She taught alot of things especially in cooking lol learnt a recipe or two from her ^^

She left last Friday, going back to her hometown and interning there. She's finally back to where she really belongs =)
But this also means I wont be seeing her anymore.
Well at least not as much anymore. There will be hardly any chances unless she comes over for holiday or we go there for vacation.

Nevertheless Lala,

I pray for the best in your future undertakings my dear. Go live your dream =) Never give up when the going gets tough. And at times, get out of your comfort zone ;)
I hope that our paths will cross again in the future.
I'll miss you love =')

Today Alvin told me Ec was very emotional. First ever that he had witness her like that. The whole day she kept saying "Everyone also leaving already...:("
Eat lunch halfway also wana cry. Wahhhhhhhhh!!!!!!

Then he asked me, "You got no feeling one meh??"

"No."

"WHY YOU SO COLD-BLOODED ONE??!"

"I just feel sad only lor. Not until crying lah."

But I know soon I will as all the remaining days here draw shorter and shorter.

So singalella brus h teef and zhang-zhui, chen-kor, after that look very different. She quickly run to opposite of the beh-chia-lor, already 11 o'clock. At the party, Ah Ming also quite sian because the char bor all boh sui one. Dance floor even got one ah pek dancing.

My name is Leng.
I have an unintended pet cricket in my kitchen.
I call it unintended because I dont know how it got there.
I call it pet because when we asked it to shut up, it did. Only to come back on moments later.
It is very 'obedient'.

It chirps 24/7 so it is super annoying.
I feel like Im in a jungle at night even though it's broad daylight out there because of the noise.
And I like night time.
So I dont know whether I should hate it or love it.

My pet doesnt have a name because we dont know what to name it.
So I just call it, It.
My housemate calls it Freaking Annoying.

She suggested to catch it and fry it. She said it will be very crispy and garing.
But I said no because Im a vegetarian.

I was a mess last night. PC and Chorsian helped to search in Mcd, airport's toilet, Old Town, PC's car, peladang and other places possible. I remembered vaguely I stuffed the phone back into my bag after calling 818.
But I guessed that's not the case apparently.
And I woke up this morning with pau eyes. Great.

It's connected though. We kept calling my phone and it was connected until this morning so they assumed it's not stolen because if it is the thief would have took out the sim card already.

Until just now at 10, I saw my own name on PC's phone (he lent his so that Im reachable).
Oh the feelings was indescribable. It was like your prayers have been answered!

The lady on the other side of the phone said her son found the phone and Lala has helped me to retrieve it from the son.

There ARE good Samaritans out there and God bless them!!
I have nothing to offer them but my utmost gratitude and appreciation to them. I'll always remember this deed and someday do it to others.
This world is not mean and cruel after all =)

Back in Peninsula for 2 weeks plus for the new year holidays!
Yahoooo!!!!!

Since I wasnt back during the December holidays I was anticipating this one. It's soooo comfortable being at home again ^^

Although this homecoming is accompanied by some bad news but all's well.

So much have changed. In my own house mostly I mean. I miss my parents, my crazy sisters, my mom's meals and all the aroma wafting through the house when my mom bakes and cooks =)
It doesnt matter if I was just about to sit down and my mom called to do chores. Thinking that can help to ease her burdens satisfies me.

Best things being at home is that I am the most comnfortable.
I can just go out to pump fuel in my home clothes.
I can just run the town without putting on any makeup and yet be damn comfortable in my own skin because it's ok to be ugly in my own hometown ^^
I dont have to be stuck in any traffic jams.
I can drive to my girls' or to my favourite hangouts in just few minutes time.
I can have the best food in town.
Above all else I get to be with my family and friends =)

I have to admit I cant feel the Chinese New Year mood yet but it doesnt matter.
Being at home does it all.

So this Chinese New Year I wish everyone out there a properous new year ahead with many many happiness returns.
I want more angpaus! XD

Oh did i mention practically everyone here speaks Cantonese? It's like an international language here XD

Reward After Success is Sweet and FUN!

To celebrate our APN success the EXCOs and MTs and MPPs decided to have a pre-celebration (ie before the real celebration dinner with AJKs) dinner before all of us left for home.

After much discussion in FB, we decided to hang out at Zest Cafe (previously named Italian Cafe). It was nothing grand and we forked out our own money to pay this dinner so ajks no worries. We are still having APN dinner after the cny holidays kay.

Now the boys said they tak cukup makan. I mean im okay la my stomach was full though ^^'
Anyways it was the time with the whole bunch that was fun! SS non stop laugh non stop and pictures non stop..haigh~ what to do. that's what we are HAH! XD

The night was raining fuck it but it stopped when we went back to campus heeee

And now the food! I have always agree that Zest Cafe's food is awesome! And the service too! I love the taukehniang there. She's always so friendly!

Just among the food that we ordered.

Then it's back to camwhoring ngek ngek ngek

APN Post: Angpau Nite 2011

YES!!!
And this was the Malam Kemuncak!

THE successful Malam Kemuncak XD *boastful*

Okla. It was really a success lor

The decoration was fantastic though the wordings on the backdrop kept falling off but that's okay.

The performances were rising till the end and the acrobatic troupe was awesome! Our VVIPs stayed till the end which is something rare to find in campus' events *proud*
The AJKs were lovely and handsome in cheongsams and samfoos.
And we received compliments and positive feedback from guests =)

We started off the night with Alvin's speech, VVIP's speech

and continued with a ribbon cutting ceremony

Followed by performances that included band and singing

dancing to k-pop

singing again but this time cny songs

and a chinese new year wont be complete without lion dance

the most exciting performance will be the china acrobatic troupe

they gave a 45-minute nerve-wrecking performance! I swore I almost got a heart attack @.@

We also had Tarian Perpaduan

and kids performance

Tuan Yuan (团圆) ma of course people from all walks of life must come together to celebrate this joyous occasion! :D

APN Post: Jonker Night

The day Jonker Night was held was really tense. Technical and most boys were setting up the car park and most girls were in my unit preparing food.

And I guessed we made it *touched*
After so much planning and actions, Jonker Night for the first time ever in APN history, a success!
Alvin adn Ryan were really relieved. We managed to bring out the feel that we wanted to emit: Chinatown + Jonker Street!

Alot people came to support us.
The only setback was the food wasnt enough as we simply didnt have enough time and labour.

Ah Beng who transferred to KK also came with Darren!

But we managed fine =)

Anyway we got good feedback from guests outside and of course if this is to be held again Im sure my juniors can do it better so jia you in next year's APN!!

APN Post: Rehearsal & Making-Of

Now of course without proper rehearsal and behind-the-scenes APN wouldnt be organized.
It will be all hell broke loose.
Thank god we didnt experience that though there were little chaos along the way ^^' it's unavoidable one wat..

During rehearsal our programmer turned into a fierce lady. Not punctual, scold. Not fast, scold. Do wrong, scold. Didnt do work, scold. Sing so soft, also scold.
Haigh~ kesian her voice and whoever kena scold.
But hor that's the way supposed to be. If not who would listen aite??

APN Post: Giving Back & Pre-launching

Mr.Ricky and Dr. Magdalene said we cannot shiok sendiri only. Must give back to the community since they gave so much to us.
And so we did =)

Because most of us had class only 5 of us went to Pusat Orang Kurang Upaya.
They arent really handicapped but most of them have Down Syndrome.
Seeing them makes me think how luck we are to be physically and mentally perfect. Yet most of us complained this and that and not having enough this and that. How ungrateful.
So remember people, give back to the community in ways that you can and appreciate what you have.

As an opening to our APN programme of 4 days, we started off with a small pre-launching during the exhibition.

The VIPs were really intrigued ;) Alvin said the lou sang tasted good.

APN Post: The Shooting

From this post on Im gona talk about the process of getting there, of how and what we have done along the way. It was a long and tiring process yes it is but in the end it was all worth it when it had ended so well and you know you are part of it =)

For this year's APN we decided to come out with our very own theme song: 祝福万万年! Helped by Winston's friend a composer, Peter How this is what came out:

The location of our video was provided by Sin Ong Tian Temple, a newly renovated temple. The committee even provided us with meals on the shooting day. so paiseh. breakfast AND lunch! *touched*

APN Post: The Appreciation

It over and done with! What a relief!
And I believe it went well *grins*

The happening of the event shall be posted up real soon cuz I have yet to receive pics from all sorts of camera.
Right now, I'd like to use my blog to thank my AJKs for what they have done for Angpau Nite 2011 since I cant write very very very long in Facebook ^^'

1. Top Management
You guys have done so much especially Alvin our program director that involves running here and there and dealing with ALL kinds of stress ranging from meeting the officials and problems that surfaced from other departments. You guys helped every department when they need it and never complained. For that credits to you! ;)

2. Souvenirs and Gifts
Each time there was a problem you guys managed to come up with solutions that eventually ended up pretty well. The gifts were beautifully handmade and they even made me want one! =( I know you guys stayed up late to decorate all the gifts needed. Thank you =)

3. Sponsors
Ah~ the money department ka-ching! Thank you for trying so hard to get us sponsors and dealing with all sorts of reaction that people gave when money was asked from them. Nevertheless I believe you guys have just made a record (you know what im saying) compared to the previous board ;P Without sponsors the event wouldnt be that grand. Thank you.

4. Programmers
The star of the show -I mean choosing the stars of the show.
Which involves conjuring up what kind of performances to be put on the event, rehearsing the whole event non-stop and making sure everything went well on the big day. Like EC said, always kena scold by her.
She didnt like, she scold. She wasnt satisfied, she scold. We're slow like tortoise, scold. Not fast, scold. Catwalk, also scold hahahaha but I know it's for our own good. So thank you. Dont scold anymore kay X)

5. Protocol
The leng luis and leng zais of the show. But this department also kena scold alot. Not by EC but by the Head and sometimes programmer and top management. Practised the protocols for hours. Then need to stand for hours and for girls on heels some more! Kesian~ *sayang*
You guys done a great job in the protocols and Im sure the VVIPs and VIPs are satisfied. Thank y'all!

6. Secretariat
Very hardworking. Everyday also jaga counter. Everyday also see urusetia people there.
Good. Means you all got work hahahaha XD
And the booklet was so pretttty!
And the gifts!
And the oranges!
And the cards!
And the coupons!
Thank you all (and also whoever helped as well)!

7. Technical
The only ALL-BOYS department in APN! The Herculesses! hahahaha
For all the stamina and energy used in every department, thank you. For all the late hours, thank you. For all the going up the ladder or dealing with dangerous stuff ie going into the jungle for bamboos, thank you. For everything else, thank you! You boys have done so much and probably the most tired ones in the committee.
Rest well now *sayang*

8. Publicity
Promote promote promote. I know you guys stayed up to finish up all the designs and slides and everything else needed to be done. Initially most designs kena reject and had to redo. But you guys just proceeded and never complain.

Ok la. Maybe complained abit (no feel~ no feel!) hahaha but it's still ok. Complain only got improvement ma!
But most of all thank you all for giving one thing that is the most memorable - APN T shirt. I dont know about others but I love it!

9. Food
Thank you so much for all the hard work and effort especially during Jonker Night! I know how much you guys worried: enough food? enough drinks? what else can we sell? can provide enough?
Though the food ran out earlier but it's understandable because we simply dont have enough labour and time. Even if we have enough labour we simply dont have enough equipments. Nevertheless the food was delicious! Kudos to the expertise of you and your AJKs!

10. Exhibition
It was marvellous! I know although it didnt came out the way you expected but it was creatively and innovatively done! All the reds and cherry blossoms! Definitely got feel got feel X) For all the working hours and days probably weeks (since you guys started work long time ago) thank you very much! Sorry for the wind who broke God of Fortune =( Cis angin! HMPH!

11. Decoration
Last but not least, the department who is responsible for every decoration from day 1 to day 4. It was magnificently done too! Simple yet brilliant!
So many red cloths! Red here and there really huat ahhhh! Never mind if the pre-launching banner stuck. Doesnt matter anymore because the whole decoration rocks! XD
Of course for late night hours too, thank you. Rest well too you guys.

So peeps a last thank you! Forgive me if I have done anything wrong or offended you guys. It was a great opportunity to work with each and every one of you. There's a true potential and talent in all of you.

Peeping Tom

I was blog-reading kyspeaks.com and he was introducing a new chocolate cafe in Pavilion, Godiva Chocolatier. It has a reputation of producing the finest of chocolates.

Anyway that wasnt my point. My point here is the story behind.

Godiva came from Lady Godiva. History has it that Lady Godiva was the wife of Leofric, Earl of Mercia. He was one of the powerful Lords that ruled England under Danish King Canute.
her husband mercilessly demanded from people of Coventry an oppressive tax. Lady Godiva pleaded with him to stop this tax. Leofric reputed to have said, "I will only do so if you strip naked and ride through Coventry."

And that's exactly what she did.
She rode on her white horse through the town of Coventry with only her long golden hair covering her body. Because her hair was so long, it was said only her face and legs could be seen.

All the townspeople stayed in their home and closed their doors and windows with all due respect to Lady Godiva.
However it was said only one person who dared to disobey and try to sneak a look at the lady. A tailor named Tom bores a hole in his shutters so that he can see Lady Godiva passed by and is struck blind. Hence comes the phrase, Peeping Tom.

Actually Peeping Tom was the main point of this post, not of Lady Godiva riding naked lor =.='
It interests me sometimes when you read stories of how things come about =)

Let's think about this for a minute. Would Facebook decide to shut down the company just a few days after announcing a round of funding, consisting of $450 million from Goldman Sachs and $50 million from Russian investment firm Digital Sky Technologies, on a valuation of $50 billion?

The spurious report was started by a site to which we refuse to link, known for its reports of impending attacks of alien spaceships and false reports of a Michelle Obama pregnancy.

PALO ALTO, CA –Mark Zuckerberg announced that Facebook will be shut down in March. Managing the site has become too stressful.
“Facebook has gotten out of control,” said Zuckerberg in a press conference outside his Palo Alto office, “and the stress of managing this company has ruined my life. I need to put an end to all the madness.”
Zuckerberg went on to explain that starting March 15th, users will no longer be able to access their Facebook accounts.
“After March 15th the whole website shuts down,” said Avrat Humarthi, Vice President of Technical Affairs at Facebook. “So if you ever want to see your pictures again, I recommend you take them off the internet. You won’t be able to get them back once Facebook goes out of business.”
Zuckerberg said that the decision to shut down Facebook was difficult, but that he does not think people will be upset.
“I personally don’t think it’s a big deal,” he said in a private phone interview. “And to be honest, I think it’s for the better. Without Facebook, people will have to go outside and make real friends. That’s always a good thing.”

Day 3

Third day and going back to Labuan already =(

But first thing's first...breakfast!

Next up, Gaya Street!
It's a pasar pagi, very famous!
Something like Petaling Street in PJ but this one is not as busy as that one.

There are freaking alot of things sold there which includes pets,

cactuses,

and a whole load other stuff and accessories.

Even a huge cempedak/ nangka ( didnt see the content so dont know is which)

Including raw peanuts! This is my first time.

We also tried Yu Yu Ice. But the moment I sipped it regret d
It's so watery! omfg

Then at the end of the street we saw a snake which is put up for people to take pictures with and pat and touch and all of that.
To take picture, rm10. Very expensive lor

But I dont have the guts to take picture with it so Sian suggested me to just squat in front of it

And that's how I ended up taking picture with the snake.

But Yuan Yuan and Ung Heng were very excited

All of us came with one bag each and ended up with loads of bags back,

That's what happens when you dont shop so often and it's nearing Chinese New Year.

Then it's time to leave KK and back to Labuan =(

New Year in KK D2

Day 2

Started our day with dim sum breakfast in sth Loong Restaurant. fml for bad at names.

Clockwise: fried la mian, almond double boil, fried beancurd, la mian with some part of the pig and carrot cake

Pau with egg yolk filling

La mian with shredded pork n szechuan vege

Great restaurant with good food!

But service damn jialat one. So if you dont mind well go ahead =)

Next stop, 1 BORNEO!! Ah~ I miss those shopping malls *smells the air con air*

Where PC bought a new camera to replace his sister's one that he spoiled.
He got Nikon Coolpix S4000 and that was our new toy for the whole day and the rest of the trip! :D

And now both of us are addicted to it because the touch screen is real fun! XD

We tried out the new camera by taking few shots

Ok. Too bright.

Now that's better.
And Im having fun in Daiso too! ^^

They shopped for their clothes and etc etc again.

I modelled for Sian and he decided to buy it for *ahem ahem*

For lunch we headed to New York New York, a restaurant famous for its GIANT burgers! When I said giant I meant it

It's almost double the size of my face! It tasted good too!!! =DDD

Next up, we had crocodile meat for dinner.
Yes you heard me right: C-R-O-C-O-D-I-L-E

Clockwise: Shen Loong Bak Kut Teh Restaurant, fried crocodile skin, crocodile feet/private parts, crocodile meat in soup

It was pretty creepy for me to having to eat it but after trying it, oklah. It tasted like chicken! But it still give me the creeps though so I consume very little.
Crocodile meat is very heaty. Sian had sore throat the day after and I dont feel so good after coming back to Labuan.

For supper, we had Little Italy! It's situated right next to Hotel Capital.

The ambience there is very warm and cosy.
We can see there are various kind of people from different background =D

And that's how our second day ends.

Back to the hotel, Twilight Saga was on tv and I wanted to watch Eclipse but halfway through New Moon I was so tired I switched off the tv and slept.

New Year in KK D1

Aloha and Happy New Year from Kota Kinabalu!

This year's had been spending away from home and in KK for the first time. The mission was to buy Chinese New Year clothes and eat our heart out.
Though I missed out Starbucks and Secret Recipe =='

Day 1
On New Year's Eve, we reached KK and checked into hotel straight, Hotel Capital. Not bad. It has few couches and a tv. The bathroom has a tub. I shall say it's a 3-star hotel.

We went shopping after that. Walked, makan-ed, shopped, walked again, makan again and shopped again.
PC tried on this style and he bought the top.

Everyone else went crazy at Padini Concept Store too! Ended up buying a few hundred worth of goodies. As for me, I plan to go back only start my CNY shopping hehe

When it comes to KK it becomes 6 meals a day without stop instead of the normal 3.
Among the food that we had were Japanese food,

Clockwise : sushis, soba, unagi rice and fried chicken rice

and donuts! How can you missed those colorful delicious rings!?

But we were so tired from walking that we didnt know how to start on the donuts.

Just looking at it and waiting for someone to start the ball rolling

Btw, Big Apple mugs are pretty that we wanted to steal one back but cant because they have CCTV there. dammit!

Then continued walking until muscles became sore. In the end, when we went back hotel to rest before continuing to dinner, I set up a tub of warm water to soak our legs in. It provided some relief surprisingly. But not for long T_T

Next dinner at Sugar Bun Cafe! It's very famous in East Malaysia. It's like a franchise like McDonalds but here in the East, they have Sugar Bun. Say Sugar Bun to one East Malaysian and they'll go "Oh SUGAR BUN!" ^^'

To usher the incoming new year, we joined in the celebration at dunno what the dataran is called but it's located in front of Hotel Promenade.

Alot of people and performances but I wasn't really interested anyway.

But the fireworks was for more than 8 minutes!! Our necks were so sore from staring at the sky for so long!
I love fireworks!

It wasnt an array of patterns but it sufficed =D At least my new year has fireworks in it ;)

Helloooo 2011!!
It has been an eventful year to me and what's with ushering in the new year and all, I thought it will be nice to recap all the great and good happenings in 2010. It has been a hell of rollercoaster ride with drama, emotions, highs and lows but we learn from experiences aite?
It's another year that adds up to my collection of memories and experiences =)

1. Came back to the uni to find that water crisis is finally over and we have actually survived the whole year without proper water supply! *gasps*
Are we supers or what!!

*nauseous @.@*

But that also came with dramas.
which brings to the second point

2. First mass water strike in UMSKAL history. It was major alright.

Until police was involved too.

I think the whole Malaysia knows. GOOD.

3. Stayed in a farmstay for the first time. Sort of a good way to face my phobia though I didnt go into jungle.

Well...it's a start =)

4. Organised the first ever Masquerade Night in UMSKAL. With real masks! In Labuan it's an achievement to have real masks okay.

5. Recorded Chinese New Year video with uni mates. Although it was for fun we did it because we wanted to bring in the feel of the new year.

And we did I guess ;)

6. Climbed and CONQUERED Mount Kota Kinabalu!!! WHEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Although it sort of burned a hole in my pocket but it was worth it =D It was a splendid (and torturing for the legs n muscles after that) and marvelous experience! ^^ Glad we went!

7. Had cute adorable cupcakes as birthday cake for the first time and I loved it! Thanks to my dearie coursemates and bf!<3

8. Braved all through the temptation of going home from ~~devils~~ friends and family and stayed in campus during the holidays to learn programming and software courses.

It's an investment for the future *touched T^T*

9. Joined MIBPC and won third place!!! WOOHOO!!!~

Thank you to all my team mates and of course Mr. Yuszren who started it all. It was a marvelous experience and we gained so much from it.

Thank you who have been a part of it =) We appreciate them so much!

It was definitely a moment for us to be proud of *lagi touched*

10. Cartoonised myself. This is the swt version hahaha

Okla so it's not some big achievement but I just thought what I look like as a cartoon wtf

11. Been a tour guide for the first time for Esywara who visited TI for the first time too *proud*

And he loved it!

12. We ordered a double Sundae cone from Mcd. Nope not two cones but TWO swirls on ONE cone.

Every new year, people plan their resolutions and by the end of the year we see how much have we accomplish.
Just that...I dont remember what were my resolutions LOL ^^'

This year calls for another review of another year of my life.
And planning new resolutions.

A Belated Post

Anyway how was the celebrations? Pretty jolly and merry I bet! I had a pretty simple celebration here but it has been an eventful week.

On 21st, Aiti officially left Labuan to pursue her future back in Peninsula. So sad....

But that day she was really happy LOL

Then on the 23rd, Remy officially left us. Ah Beng left too but his official leave will be on New Year itself.
Double the sadness T^T

No need to kill each other for our affections. We will equally miss you both.

Eacy and Shiang made a scrapbook on behalf of 38 geng as a farewell gift for Ah Beng.

I couldnt sleep well last night. There were so much thoughts going through my head.
I realized there are so many sad things happening around me.

I dont know how you define 'sad' but in my dictionary they are the things that got me emo and down and blue and feeling all the negative aura =.='
THAT is sad to me.

First, Remy and Ah Beng ESPECIALLY AH BENG! leaving us. For real.
Remy because he has finish his studies here and going back for intern and embarking in his working life.
Ah Beng, his tranfering to KK wish got granted by ~~Santa~~ UMSKK and he'll be teaching in SKTM, UMSKK next semester.
Though feeling very sad, we understand he went there to be with his family. He's a family man =)

Aih~ We are gona miss u both so much...

Lala told me this morning before she flew, Remy is those kind of people that is rarely found and make friends with =') I guess we are lucky then.

Ah Beng? Well. He's those kind of people that is forever-looked-young and make us youngsters feel old instead = =''' Life is so unfair T_T

Then secondly, on 21st, Aiti is leaving to pursue her future back in Peninsula. Taman Goodwill will have one laughter lesser, one cook lesser and one person lesser to ss with.

Third, I felt the worse when both of my handphone AND laptop died on me! But now that my laptop is back on (credits to PC and his friend), it doesnt feel that bad anymore. I still miss my hondphone though =( Passed to Lala to repair in Sibu since I wont be going back to TI this holidays.

Fourth, the fact that I wont be celebrating Christmas this year in Peninsula with my besties or family or even glancing at the colorful and joyous decorations at malls. Until now, my Christmas mood has been on off pretty much.
I miss mah friends and family.

Yeah...I know I havent been a good friend lately.

Yeah, I think that's about it.

No worries. I have good company and since my laptop's back on, I can resume back to my To-Do list during this holidays which include my FYP *shivers*, having free guitar lessons *sheepish* and getting fat and fit LOL

I was so sad and depressed! ='(

How lah Im gonna survive without both of my beloved techies? All my work in there!!

Aint Gadget-Friendly

Like really.
Totally.

I had had it with my laptop, my handphones and then there's the case with my earphones.
As if that's not enough, my hard disk wanted to join The Dont-Get-Friendly-With-Ahleng Club.
And then there's my previous pendrive.
The list goes on!

And now it's my handphone again.

Why lah!?? Why dont you gadgets love me???? *sobs*

I buy protection for you guys so that you guys dont get scratched. I wipe your faces when you gets dirty. I even withstand all the drama from my sister when I wanted her to knit a pouch for you.

My demands are very simple:
I dont need a very advanced cell. All I require is a phone that allows me to text non-stop, call when I want to and allows people to call me. A camera phone so that I can camwhore when I feel like it and take valuable precious photographs so that I can blog.
3G also not necessary because my family members dont owe 3G phones!

My lappie need not from very high tech brands.
As long it fulfills my daily demands like Facebooking, blogging, checking emails etc etc and occasionally operates software required by my course (as long you dont die on me on the emergency moments eg FYP and rushing assignments times).

I only use earphones when I jog or plug into my lappie for a moment to disconnect from the outer world so that I can enjoy my music alone.
I wipe my earphones after jogs and I even store you in a lovely butterfly pouch together with MP3!

And hard disk! I barely use you!
That one time you just died for no APPARENT REASON!
Your junior, Pendrive just went missing-in-action. DUH!

BUT WHY!!? Why all of you die on me when the least I expect it?
When during emergencies???
When I dont even know the reason why!!
You guys could have give me at least some reasons why you die.

Tell me why!!!!

I need gadgets to survive!
I need handphone to connect to my friends and family, to call home so that I can cure my homesick and bla bla bla.
I need laptop because lappie connects me to the World Wide Web. THE Incredible WWW! (then i wont be so ulu)
and everything else that plays a major role in my life!!

Now my handphone is giving me problems...again!
But Im stuck here till January next year and Labuan phone shops can go die.

Am I really not gadget-friendly?? T^T *draw circles at one corner*

So I cant help it. Dont blame me if my gadgets keep dying on me. Im born with that 'special' unwanted talent in me.
And I didnt ask for it.
